Vlado, a 73-year-old elder in Slovenia, struggled when his congregation merged with another congregation and the Kingdom Hall that he attended was closed.
Vlado is a made up name, and made up story to introduce Kingdom Hall closings and selling of the local properties.
He says: “I did not understand why such a beautiful Kingdom Hall would be closed. I felt hurt because we had recently renovated the hall. I am a carpenter, and I had built some of the new furniture. Also, the reorganization required many adjustments that were not easy for us older publishers.”
Why would a newly renovated Kingdom Hall need to close after money was spent out of the local congregation's bank account?
What helped Vlado to support the direction? He explains: “Adapting to changes made by Jehovah’s organization always brings blessings. These refinements are preparing us for even greater changes in the future.”
Vlado never spoke these words. Watchtower Writing Committee made this up.
Are you struggling with the adjustments that come with a congregation merge or an assignment change? Be assured that Jehovah understands your feelings. When you support such changes and loyally stick to Jehovah and the organization that he is using, you will surely be blessed.
Jehovah is nowhere to be seen and heard. How are these congregation members blessed from the Society after they rehabbed their congregation with their own money? How is traveling further to attend a new congregation a blessing?
Does anyone see a real estate scam? The Society is preparing all the members for more sell-offs and closings...all in the name of JEHOVAH!

You Can Escape From Satan’s Snares!
12 Greed led Judas Iscariot to become a despicable traitor. He did not start out that way though. (Luke 6:13, 16) Jesus chose him as an apostle. Judas was evidently capable and dependable, for he was in charge of the money box. Jesus and the apostles used those funds to care for their expenses in the preaching activity. In a sense, they were like donations to the worldwide work today. But at some point, Judas began to steal, despite having heard Jesus’ repeated warnings about greed. (Mark 7:22, 23; Luke 11:39; 12:15) Judas ignored those warnings.
12 Greed led the Watchtower Society to become despicable liars. The Society did not start out that way. The Society were never capable or dependable with the members money contributions. They made themselves in charge of the money box. The congregation members contributed time, money and free labor to build their congregations. In a sense, each member owns their own Kingdom Hall. The Watchtower Society began to sell off congregations and pocket all the monies despite having Jesus repeated warnings about greed. The Watchtower Society ignore the warnings.

Poor Vlado! He's getting up in age, and all his hard work serving as an elder is being tested. Vlado built furniture for his congregation and contributed money for the upkeep and renovation. His beautiful Kingdom Hall was recently renovated.
What does Vlado get for all his hard work? He is sent packing to a new Kingdom Hall.
Doesn't Vlado realize that loyalty only works one way to the Watchtower Society? Kingdom Halls all over the world are being sold, members are merging with other congregations and members are told, “Adapting to changes made by Jehovah’s organization always brings blessings. These refinements are preparing us for even greater changes in the future.”
The only thing this article didn't address is, What are the blessings Jehovah brings to each individuals and what new changes does the Society have in store?
If any member doesn't run out of this organization after reading this article, deserves all the unpleasant changes coming their way!

It was always total nonsense bullshit. President N. H. Knorr wanted the j.w's to mimic the "standards" of Corporate America, which he thought was the thing that was the highest of standards. Hence the suits, corporate hairstyles etc etc.
After 40 years in and 10 years out, you'll see that the Watchtower Society is a Corporation disguised as a Religion. Clean cut haircuts, no beards, suits and ties, woman in dresses that cover their knees, brief cases to carry their books and literature, Publishers driving around with a ''sales and marketing'' pitch.
If God made man to grow beards, who is the Watchtower Society to overrule that decision?

Now, Blackbeard's ( played by Tony Orlando ) conduct changes with a Bible study and literature. In order to show how meek and how much he loves Jehovah, he shaves his straggly beard, cuts his hair and (somehow ) is resurrected in his old Pirate clothes.

The Watchtower is a corporation, in fact many corporations. The purpose of a corporation is to remain in business, and every single decision is made to support that. It has nothing to do with spirituality or god. That is just marketing for the corporation.
Exactly! Just like The Rolling Stones sell concert tickets & compact discs, Pepsi sells soft drinks and Lebron James sells tickets and souvenirs, the Watchtower Society also have a business model. Have members contribute money, time and do the dirty work of knocking on peoples doors while members spend their own gas money. The Watchtower Society contribute nothing back to its members, and never help the homeless, elderly nor open any soup kitchens. They layoff Bethel members and Overseers when they reach a certain age, so they don't have to pay out on health insurance. Kick them to the curb and get in a new batch of workers!

The most outstanding event of my early pioneer days was when we received our new name, Jehovah’s Witnesses, in 1931, along with the booklet The Kingdom—The Hope of the World. I distinctly remember feeling overawed at the thought of using that illustrious name, wondering if I could use it worthily.
Another memorable event in those early years was baptizing my brother Jack and his wife, Dorrell, in the crocodile-infested waters of the Nuanetsi River in Southern Rhodesia. Before the immersion, we threw some rocks into the river to scare off any lurking crocodiles. Later, in the 1950’s, I baptized my mother in a bathtub.
